It's new year eve, again.

People always have mix feeling when they are alone, or during some special moment and they somehow drown in their own world. It has been so long I have the time to sit down at one of the corner, without any distractions.

Time for some reflection of my 2011. It's not cliche to do a sum up every year. In fact a very good habit where one can practice. It reminds you of what you have forgotten and what you have to do in future. The check list.

Let's rewind.

1. The Dummy Kid

Back in early, I met him.

The boyfwen. Am really glad the angel has finally brought him here after so many years. Our story is a bit different. Or interesting. It's not physically attached but mentally at first. Somehow it's like a fairytale playing its chapters in real life.

His existence not just brought me happiness and love but tears and laughs. It's how love should be.

Also this dummy has became the limelight of mine where friends start commenting that he is so much cuter than me. So all the photos we taken they liked it because of him but not me. Lol. They are so gonna ditch me and have him as the new friend to replace me. But I don't care am gonna stick with him. :P

2. Bangkok Getaway

Early January the zoofwenz and I flew to the neighbour country for a shopping spree. It was planned a few months ahead and the main purpose is, yeah u got it right, SHOP ALL YOUUU CANNNNNN. would have say shop till you drop but too much of 9gag influence so, haha.

And it was my first time to Bangkok, fall in love for the price of apparels and food. Nom nom nom nom nom nom. What we went through in this trip is totally like those typical horror movie where a gang of friends went for trip then scary things started to happen one by one. *touchwood* We are all safe and sound. Just that JeanCui being pickpocket, lost all the $$$ plus documents including passports. This is where our trip being postponed and encountered the red army in town.

Shopping paradise.

Feel so surreal but indeed a memorable trip.

3. Graduation

After 4 years of hardwork, sleepless nights, endless assignments, we graduated! Well all work and no play makes Jack a dull boy. Sometimes we deserve those overnight because of procrastination. Haha.

4. HongKong | Macau

The trip to Hong Kong was a fruitful one as it includes of shopping eating and visiting. Ever notice how i put shopping at the first place? Ooooopsie. :D

What I love max of Macau is their Portugese Tart! Super yummy can. I could eat 10 pieces at once if given the chance. Haha.

5. Bali

A graduation trip for the gang with plus one.

Always thought that Bali is a paradise full with romantic couples and weddings. Overrated by films and movies though. For me i think that Bali is a place enriched by culture and history. You'll love the place more when the tour guide is telling you the stories behind each sculpture and attractions.

The dolphin at Lovina is a must!

Early in the morning before sunset, in a boat, sharing the sea with dolphins.

6. India

The hell and the heaven.

Friends are like OMG You went India?? For real?? While parents were so conscious about the cleanliness once know that we are going there. They were like saying ' Out of so many places to go why choose India?' Follow with a big sigh.

This was actually a surprise trip baby planned.

That night he was asking me where is our next destination and I asked him to surprise me. Yea indeed he did. Was forcing myself not to check it out which I could have done. All the while my six sense told me that we are going to China until the few days before I accidentally clicked on this hotel booking thingy and saw New Delhi.

NEW DELHI.

Was like OMG!!! India!!!!

And there goes my few days reading blogs and info about India. Am so anticipated and excited. I won't be that kind of person who despise poverty and say no to their country. Even though most of the time I'll choose urban city than rural place, deep inside I learnt a lot throughout this trip.

You will never have a chance to see a group of people peeing and pooing together along the street. Or seeing cows winking at you while you are on the road. Or kids following you to everywhere you go. Or looking at your polaroid as if it's a magic box that captures human.

People see us like an alien. If you are an optimist, may be you can feel as if u are a star. They look at you with those eyes, explore every inch of your skin. When your eyes met with theirs, it always comes with a smile.

If you ask me whether I will go back again?

Definitely yes.

For me, I just visited the heaven.

7. Tragic Fairytale

It was a music video conducted by Gino and was there to help out. Love the outfit and also my creepy evil little character.

8. Chatime Fever

Don't really notice since when Chatime intrudes the market but a few friends of mine are their super number 1 fans.

Ever since Chatime opened at Ipoh it becomes our second home. We will take turn to get the order as we are too frequent and so embarrass for being recognize by those waiters.

Tsssk tsssk tsssk.

9. Found the biggest initial of mine

No no no. Am not gonna tell you where I saw this. Cause it might happen to be your initial too!

10. Polaroid freak

Bought more than 100 boxes of polaroid films. Approximately 1000 pictures taken?

I don't know can't bear with the amount as after I times with the money for each film it will be #(%(#*%*#(? Haha.

Anyway the price I got the films is the cheapest in the town so I don't care!

I want the 4 walls in my room full with polaroids!

11. The Game

Doom!

Every Chinese New Year I will spend the longest time playing this. Of course, involve money and energy as it's part of gambling. Hiak hiak hiak.

Can't wait for the coming CNY.

12. Taroball series set 2

Was a year where I keep eating the same thing but never get bored of it.

Oh my taro ball series set 2, when was the last time I ever tasted you?

13. Pre graduation

We are the gangster. And we rule the world.

We know that there will be a day for departure, but the memories we created, always there.

14. Sekinchan

My another somewhere belong as my someone belongs there.

Love to see how he runs along the paddy field, come back with all sweats.

15. Food Poison

Was taken a week after I had food poison. I dropped to 41kg and this is some hard work I did to gain back some weight.

I slimmed down a lot after I eaten a romantic din din at a royal hotel in Udaipur, India. Was really really sick and can't consume anything cause me keep vomiting and also s***ing. ]: Luckily it was already the last day of the trip and baby was there to take care of me. Still remember that night I woke up with the pain and have to ask the person in charge in the hotel to drive me to the nearest pharmacy to get pills. The awkward moment in the car when the guy who drives us there ask us how we think about HIS hotel. HIS HOTEL. Omygawdd we tot he was a driver or something. Haha! So this guy actually was the heritage of the royal family he might be a price and he was driving me to get pills! Like a fairytale. Lol.

I will never forget that few days I suffered. Even in the plane, I went to the toilet for countless times and was given special seats too. ]:

So India, seems like you can't run away from diarrhea.

16. Lighting Fun

That night where we were fooling in the middle of the road.

17. Owl Love

Collected a lot of owls throughout the year.

Time to photoshop a new passport photo for new resume. It's time for job hunting.

I think I bought a lot of fruits.

The year where I received the most hand written letters.

Also a year where I received the most flower bouquets in my life.

Never fail to make my day.

23. Love life

The life I'm having now is so hectic ever since I came to Singapore. Been missing a lot of outings back in KL and Ipoh, and everyday how I can see my baby or family is just by phone or webby. Don't really want to use the word 'lifeless' to describe it as it's not that bad actually. Haha. I know this won't be long as after the rain is always the sun, and sometimes a rainbow!

Well this pretty sum up part of my 2011. Couldn't finish everything in just a few pictures and words.

Many of you might didn't realize Mr. Mark Zuckerberg had come out with an enhancement of Facebook interface again, like usual.

People really should stop complaining on new changes and start adapting. Anyhow you love Facebook that's why you want it to be as how you want it to be. You keep cursing but you still can't leave Facebook, so what's with the whining?

It features timeline and this cover thingy naw. Somehow I kinda neglecting Facebook and more to Twitter and Instagram so never actually put much attention on it. Until the dummy said he came out with an idea with the cover. So I actually buy his idea and start clicking the mouse. As it's really rare for him frantically voicing up his mind. Haha :P

That afternoon mom was talking to me, during our lunch.

The topic goes deeper and deeper when she talked bout dad and herself.

She said that folks at their age are all striving to live, despite all the disease and sickness that are haunting them. When life gets older, you tend to live harder. You want to live because you still think that your kids are forever a toddler, even though they are all grown up. You want to live because you haven't see them marry, have kids or a happy family. You want to live because you want to make sure they are good in pieces. You want to live because you want to earn as much as you can to feed your children. You want to live because you want to be there whenever they fall. You want to live because you are proud to be the backup.

And then I understand why my parents still pamper me that much.

I want my mom and dad both in the pink of health, always.

As I have so much things to prove and show them.

After spending the whole week rushing for the heavy work load

I have this small tiny habit.

I print screen.

Like almost every day.

No matter what is it.

Anything I feel like print screen-ing.

I am the oh-i-like-to-read-back-old-chat-conversation-oh-that-is-the-photo person.

Feels good doing so.

Dad is so adorable tonight.

Haha.

I still remember mom tells me that papa will browse our facebook profiles every night before he sleeps. 4 profiles in total including my 3 badass bros. He still practice it even when I am back home, together with him in the living room. He'll just check my profile without asking any questions. Isn't it awkward when one browsing your pictures in front of you? I'll feel uneasy can. :P

Sometimes I wonder does he understand those languages I tend to use.

You know, it's so broken and those alphabet pwoblems and gong dong wah ngor sing yat da.

Geeeeeeeee.

When come to questioning, mom will be the one who do so. As dad is like always very shy to ask me questions, especially when it touches something sensitive. He will still do daily talking to me but I know he try very hard to find a topic as I am always the one who started one and keep it going. Slowly he catches the beat then he will be chatty. I'm like a guy trying to do an opening huh? Haha. Still remember I only found out that he call himself DAVID when I was in Taiwan last last year, with his old bunch of classmates. Was so shock as those uncles are introducing me to other folks with the title of 'daughter of David'. I was like, who's David? Laugh out loud on the spot. What the dooot. Why he never tell me or may be I should put it this way, Why I never ever heard of this before? For the first time after 20 years. David Wai huh. Haha.

And we did talk about this, papa says its a nickname during his school days at Taiwan so it remains there.

But still I LOL at him.

Mom is different.

She will come to my room, with a cup or juice or tea, sit on my bed and start the Q&As. Without any foreplay. So straight-forward can. Or, a call out of nowhere asking me: ' Why are you so close to that so and so, he is a boy and you are a girl. Be decent. Or else....' bla bla bla bla bla nanny stories. Before I have the chance to spill a word. She's the one who always want to know about love and sex too. Creating her own screenplay and interrogate you whether this and this had happened.

Typical aunty.

They are growing old, but

they are still cute being together.

Just like last year, February is not only unique of its 4-year-once 29 days but also a month where love and friendship bond together.

What always keep me excited on festive seasons is always the day where i can drag my fatigue mind and body to home sweet home, meeting friends and hanging out like nobody business, waiting for the bf to fetch me out for food hunting and movie marathon. So and so. All those pampering session from the loved ones.

This year, things changed.

People come and go until they decide to settle down. But not everyone can go through this and yes I fail. And I left.

Good or bad?

It's all depends on how I see it.

Always the positive side. Yes. That's what keep me happy for 21 years and still counting.

Problems always badgering our life. And this is why solutions are made. This intangible object can be that elusive. Sometimes, even me myself find it ambiguous and wondering is this what I want after all these years. At this second I am lost, another second deep in my heart, I think I found my answer. Problem and solution is always attached. Just that whether we have the guts to bite the bullet.

Confusing, huh?

No big deal.

7. Me and everyone I love is in the pink of health. I can spend more time with my family and loved ones.

8. A career that not only can earn a good pay but also what I really interested. Of course, not to forget that it must be meaningful, at least to me.

9. TRAVEL! <3 More countries like GuangZhou, Macau, HongKong and United States. I like how my passport is full with stamps. *wink*

10. Countdown for 2011 @NewYorkTimeSquare [ A promise of Julia and JuCheongFun but of course depends on my financial status can ;p ] So this line must include that I can earn enough of money. You know, $$$$$ Haha.

This new semester I am doing my final year project & pubic speaking(ooops. PubliC)
And I had a really bad presentation. Flunk my persuasive speech. My bad. Not a good speaker yet never spend some time to practice. If you are having thoughts like 'Huh You are always chitchatting non-stop why can't you speak in front of the public?' Well. Anxiousness. Whenever there's a need for me to speak in the public, I'll have butterflies in the stomach. Feel like poo poo right on the spot. Not saying that I am so scare of public speaking I gonna avoid any speeches in future, but I am kinda slow in warming up. Guess I need to fool and gossip around first to bring me the mood before I start any speaking. Okay deal. The next speech gonna be so much better!

Oh ya! My birthday celebration. Fwennnss, if you have seen my pictures from Facebook, you know how my beloved zoofwens tortured me. Mummy gave me the key today.

This is so crazy can!

Being an intern for 6 months and getting paid with total remuneration of SGD30,000.

You can't do the math? I'll solve it for you.

SGD1 = RM2.39

SGD30,000 x 2.39 = RM71,794.43

Meaning that RM71,794.43 divided by 6 months = RM11,965.738

Earning 10k per month! What kind of intern is that? Must involve all these smuggling illegal drugs or helping an assassin or killing a pedophile or something.

I might not be one of the coolest among the so many talented ones out there but everyone deserve a chance, isn't it?

The reason I'm writing this is because I want to let everyone know about this golden opportunity.

And I am really interested in getting that, even though what I have been involving are not much related to banking & finance. *shrug*

Yeah. I am a design student! And I think I am cool enough. *giggles*

Being a designer is usually more outgoing and open-minded. I am a very typical one who loves hangout, gathering, competition, gossip session and anything that can social and mingle with friends. My life is always happening one as I practice the motto 'Live life to the fullest'!

3 months ago, I undergo my internship program at Ogilvy & Mather, which is an international Advertising Agency.

Throughout the 3-months working life there, I actually learnt a lot from handling Photostat machine to designing an advert, from picking up calls to meeting the real clients, from working in the office to exploring the real outdoor event and so much more.

I already listed that period as my coolest internship so far and now I would definitely want something even better. A place, an environment that can boost up myself.

Other than that, I think I'm cool as I heart travelling. I have a bunch cool friends who LOVE travelling!

Please don't have the wrong perception that travelling around means we have a lot of money to spend.

There's budget trip!

To be frank, I would follow, for time being. I am still a nobody striving hard to be somebody. What I actually need now is experience and guidance. The process of learning could be much enjoyable as I am not a complain queen. Whatever people commented, take in, digest, see what you want to conserve and what you want to send into dustbin.

Typical Facebook-er/ Tweet-er?

Hell yes. The first thing to do after a long night sleeping is definitely Facebook. It's a must for all the youngsters nowadays. If you dare me to delete my Facebook account. I'm so gonna consider for a month long. LOL.

You know what I realize by writing this post?

Self-praising is really not me.

I know we need to have confidence in ourself but I am not the one who showing off my capabilities all the time. I have so much more to share on my 'cool' history but I don't think I can list them all here.

If you want to hear more stories from me, getting a fresh graduate(going to), one who always daydream on her passion, willing to learn and craving for Facebook & Twitter all the time, the person would definitely be me.

My mood swings once I heard him saying next year gonna be the last year ZooFrenz can gather and celebrate festive season especially Chinese New Year. We've been through so much. From coursework, assignments, competitions, parties, celebrations to arguments, quarrels and disagreements. Up and down. Laughter and tears. Love and hate.

Totally depress on the spot.

I miss everyone naw.

Every semester break when everyone starts packing, going back to their hometown for own good days, I'll have that awkward feeling. I hope I'm not the only one who being emotional. Just, that kinda feeling is indescribable.

I just can't bear the fact that no one can stay forever with you. No matter how good is the relationship, it's just not gonna be forever. Nobody is immortal. Nobody gonna stick to who and who as we all have our own dreams. Especially when it comes to friendship. Eternal is one big question mark.

So Muk Ho gonna leave, Burger too, Alvan, Chili, Gino, Ah Boon, Ej, Jeancui, KarMay, Kevin, Jayhan, Shone, Kengkeng... Awwww, The list just goes on. Does growing up means that we got to learn to sacrifice?

Friends are all around but not easy for a gang of people click together. Somehow we did, without any special arrangement. It just happen. You don't need to try so hard to merge in a group. Some people tried for a long time but it's just not right, some don't even need few hours to mingle together. It's all doomed.

Why Vampire Sucks?

Seriously the not-so-teenage-anti cliche group ~~dislike~~ has zero interest in soap opera like Twilight. Me being neutral in this sense for so long, would like to share my 2cents here. Vampire doesn't suck before this. I mean, they suck [blood] but they are not suckers. LOL. Why does the word 'sucks' means so much. Well, they are only known as bloody sucker when Twilight & The Vampire Stories emerged the teenager's mind way too deep.

GAHHHH.

Vampire deserve to be scary, gory and bloodcurdling but now people characterize vampire as handsome, romantic and charming. Confusing huh?

Here are some random points I would like to rant about.

First of all, boring movie posters. Check.

How boring?

Forever the same way to portray.

How easy?

Posing and staring away from the camera.

Tadaaaa.

Here's the picture.

Apply some Gaussian blur, diffuse glow and done.

It's like anyone knows use Photoshop could do that.

They should at least have something like that.

Why can't they friggin ask the princessy boy Edward Cullen to strike this pose?

Secondly, boys out there who mimic Edward Cullen are annoying. Check.

ZOMG. They try so hard. Putting a ton of BBcream on your face to look as pale as them? Last time when The Death Note hits the town, you busy dress up like 'L'. Now a vampire. Okay cool. At least you can use the leftover of foundation you bought. Since the two characters share the pale face. Woots. I guess girls nowadays will nominate Edward Cullen as one of the ideal boyfriends. Nevertheless, there's not enough of Cullen in the town so eventually boys have to act like one. Aww. Poor little boy. Everything comes with a reason, huh?

Thirdly, vampires like to sit on the bench. Check. Double Triple Check.

HAHA. If you watched both Twilight & The Vampire Diaries. You'll realize Edward and Stefan like to sit on the bench, especially at the park, waiting for their girls. Exactly the same pose. Why must all the setting be in the same place? I wonder.

Actually, I don't really hate vampires. And I am not the one of the girls who overjoy like a tranny if Edward Cullen happen to come intro my dream.

Well, I wonder am I correct to use the term ' company annual dinner'. It ought to be one but the way the organizer conducted is way so awesome. Just like a big party for a big family.

Finally my Golden Half has some uses after I hibernate it for a few months. (Due to the owner aka a budger, often uses a digi cam and spend no time to get a new film roll.)

Kenny, my colleague is into lomo recently and this lomo virus is currently at its incubation period. It works well on me and YES, I got motivated for my toy cameras, once again.

This series of photos are not taken by me.

I just steal a few from Kenny and do some color changes and adjusted the curves.

As some of them are a wee dark as the film used is only ISO100.

POCO is a lifestyle cafe which offers homemade dishes. The price is not costly and the owner of the shop is actually an ex colleague from Ogilvy.

P/s: Poco is really a comfy place.

p/p/s: I don't see why those camera workers are so stubborn. I already insisted gazillion times that this is Golden Half. Its unique selling point is that it can capture 2 images in one frame. Which means if you are using a film roll of 36 images you will get 36x2=72 images, 2 images in one frame. And this is the 3rd time I see them splitting my 2 images into one single image. Urghhhhh. I did tell them, repeat for endless times. When only I can find a camera shop that obey my instruction.

Oh ya! Oh ya, the zoo friends and I are going to the ASQ Final 2010 at Bukit Jalil this Saturday. If you did read my blog you will know that I went previous year too as Gino got extra free tickets and we have nothing up that night so we just went there without supporting anyone. However, it's a total different story this year.

We got these VVIP seats for that night. Despite the super high competitions going on among the 5 MV directors, we are all going to the stadium and give the fullest support to GINO CHEAH the rhino.

No matter who turns out to be the winner, we are still be there to cheer for you. [ Some banners with your LeeHom-alike face and lame shout outs like 'Gino We Love You Forever!'? HAHAHAHA ]

I want to be a BOY.

Desperately.

Not because I want to be a TomBoy.

Screw you if you are having the thoughts that I cut my hair short because I wanted to be a boy.

LMAO.

I like my short hair. Like to be a girl. Like to dress up. Like to make up. Like being pampered.

But once in a blue moon I would build sand castle, and that is the moment strike on me:

Imagine how my life would be if I were a boy.

Oh ya by the way, I'll cut my hair shorter soon. As feedback says I look better in short hair.

Back to topic.

I wanna try to be a boy.

As I just in love with men's clothing so so much.

From jackets, sneakers, hoodies, kicks, jeans, jump suits, piping shirts, tees to even a pair of slippers.

I hope I have the body and height with the decent look to match with all these irresistible apparels.

So nice to the max can.

FYI

I always buy mens apparel.

Hand just get so itchy when I see nice shirts and jeans.

I don't have the body to wear them okay.

Then I'll start persuade the males to buy it.

"That's so nice zomg how come you just stop here?!!"

So frustrated.

Keep convincing until they buy it, or I'll ended up spent money on unnecessary men's clothing.

Eventually, those shirts and jeans will all go to my bros.

HOW LUCKY.

Boys can be fashionable without a fuss!

Wear a tee, match with jeans, fold up the hem, wear your kicks, do something on ur hair. Okay done. Presentable enough. Some perfume to make u smell good. Extra points.

Yeah, simply jealous the brothers, boyfriend, boyfriends and so many good looking hawt hunks out there.

I always wanna get some crossovers by CLOT.

Too bad the apparels are only for male.

And I don't hope to spend 2k on a pair of jeans and frame it up as decoration in the room.

Ouch!

That day I was chatting with my senior art directors during lunch time.
Then they were actually asking me to join them for steamboat after work.
I said I can't make it because I got to go back Ipoh.

And then they glanced at me, *surprisingly* and said
' Wow, you are from Ipoh? OMG! The quality of Ipoh drop so much! Do you know way back our years right, Ipoh girls are all bla bla bla bla bla'
mumble mumble mumble
Bla bla bla bla.

HAHAHA.
I almost choke out my food.
So sorry.
Obviously, I am not a very good example of Ipoh Leng Luis.
